Deep fried potato chunks

Ingredients

4 potatoes

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup vegetable oil

Method

1. Peel and rinse the potatoes, roll and slice the potatoes into chunks

 

2. Heat a stew pan over high heat, pour some water in the stew pan, pour salt in the stew pan, bring to a boil, drop the potato chunks in the stew pan, boil until medium cooked

 

3. Take out the potato chunks, drain

 

4. Heat a skillet over medium low heat, pour vegetable oil in the skillet, heat the oil until almost smoking, add the potato chunks in the skillet

 

5. Fry until light golden

 

6. Take out the potato chunks

 

7. Turn up to high heat, heat the oil until almost smoking, drop the potato chunks in the skillet, fry until golden

 

8. Take out the potato chunks, drain

 

9. Serve
