Stewed chicken with lotus root


1/2 chicken

400 grams lotus root

1 teaspoon salt

1 piece ginger

1 tablespoon dried wolf berry

1 teaspoon cooking wine


1. Cut the chicken into chunks


2. Drop the chicken in a stew pan, pour some cold water in the stew pan, pour cooking wine in the stew pan, heat the stew pan, bring to a boil, boil for 3 minutes, take out the chicken, rinse with cold water


3. Slice the ginger, rinse the wolf berries


4. Drop the chicken and ginger in another stew pan, pour some cold water in the stew pan


5. Cover the stew pan with the lid, heat the stew pan over high heat, bring to a boil, turn down to low heat, stew for 50 minutes


6. Peel and slice the lotus root into chunks


7. Drop the lotus root in the stew pan, stew for 20 minutes


8. Add the wolf berries in the stew pan


9. Season with salt


10. Stew for 5 minutes


11. Serve
