Spongy red date pancakes


100 grams all purpose flour

50 grams corn flour

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon yeast

10 dried red dates

1 tablespoon vegetable oil


1. Pour the all purpose flour, corn flour, and yeast in a large bowl, pour some warm water in the bowl, mix into batter, set aside to rise for 1 hour


2. Core the red dates, chop the red dates into small chunks


3. Put the red date chunks in another bowl, put the bowl in the steamer, steam for 10 minutes, until soft


4. Crack the egg in the leavened batter, mix until even


5. Add the steamed red date chunks in the batter, mix until even


6. Grease a fry pan with vegetable oil, repeatedly pour some batter with a spoon in the fry pan, fry until two sides are golden
