Beef and potato croquette


150 grams potato

100 grams beef

1 shallot

2 garlic cloves

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 egg

3 tablespoons vegetable oil


1. Mash the beef, shallot, and garlic cloves


2. Peel and slice the potato


3. Put the potato slices in a bowl, top the potato slices with the mashed garlic


4. Put the bowl in a steam pan, steam for 20 minutes, take out, pour off the excess water from the bowl


5. Mash the potato


6. Pour beef, shallot, salt, and ground black pepper in the bowl, mix until even


7. Divide the puree into 8 equal pieces, roll each piece into a ball


8. Slightly press the balls, until flat


9. Crack the egg in another bowl, beat until even and smooth


10. Dredge the potato cakes in the beaten egg, until coated
