Braised drumsticks and chicken wings

Ingredients

6 drumsticks

10 chicken wings

1 red onion

5 green peppers

20 chestnut mushrooms

1 celery

16 dried red chilies

1 scallion

1 piece ginger

5 garlic cloves

3 tablespoons cooking wine

5 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 tablespoons baked bean sauce

1 teaspoon white sugar

1 tablespoon barbecue sauce

1 bottle beer

1 tablespoon sliced parsley

5 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method

1. Slice the red onion, trim and slice the green peppers, slice the celery, scallion, and dried red chilies, shred the ginger

 

2. Drop the drumsticks and chicken wings in a bowl, pour 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and cooking wine in the bowl, sprinkle the ground black pepper in the bowl, mix until even, set aside for 10 minutes

 

3. Heat a fry pan over low heat, pour some vegetable oil in the fry pan, drop drumsticks and chicken wings in the fry pan, fry until golden

 

4. Heat a skillet over high heat, pour the remaining vegetable oil in the skillet, drop scallion, ginger. garlic, and dried red chilies in the skillet, stir until fragrant, pour baked bean sauce in the skillet, stir until even

 

5. Drop the drumsticks and chicken wings in the skillet, stir until even, pour the remaining soy sauce, white sugar, and barbecue sauce in the skillet, stir until even, pour some beer in the skillet, bring to a boil, boil for 10 minutes

 

6. Drop the celery, red onion, and chestnut mushrooms in the skillet, stir until even, boil for 5 minutes, drop the green peppers in the skillet, stir until even and thickened

 

7. Serve, top with the sliced parsley
