Condensed milk toast

Ingredients

For the starter:

175 grams bread flour

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon yeast

For the dough:

25 grams bread flour

50 grams cake flour

35 grams condensed milk

20 grams white sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg, beaten

30 grams milk

1/4 teaspoon yeast

20 grams butter

Method

1. Pour all ingredients for the starter in a mixing bowl, mix until even and smooth, roll into a ball, put the dough in the refrigerator to refrigerate for17 hours

 

2. Pour all ingredients but butter in another mixing bowl, take out the starter from the refrigerator, divide into some small pieces and drop in the mixing bowl, mix until even and smooth

 

3. Pour butter in the mixing bowl, mix until even

 

4. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic

 

5. Roll the dough into a ball, put the dough in a warm room to rise for 30 minutes

 

6. Rise until doubled in size

 

7. Roll gently the dough to remove air bubbles, divide the dough into 3 equal pieces, roll each piece into a ball, cover the doughs with plastic wrap, set aside to rest for 20 minutes

 

8. Roll out each dough into a oval, roll up each oval into a roll, cover the rolls with plastic wrap, set aside to rest for 15 minutes

 

9. Roll out each dough into a oval, roll up each oval into a roll, put all the rolls in the baking pan to rise for 20 minutes

 

10. Rise until 4/5 full

 

11. Preheat the oven to 160 °C, put the baking pan in the oven, bake for 30 minutes, until golden

 

12. Take out the baking pan from the oven, remove the toast from the baking pan

 

13. Slice the toast, done
