Sour spiced kelp salad


600 grams kelp

1 tablespoon sliced parsley

1 tablespoon sliced green onion

5 red chilies

5 garlic cloves

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon seasoned soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon white sugar

1 teaspoon chili flake

1 teaspoon roasted white sesame seed

2 tablespoons vegetable oil


1. Soak the kelp in cold water for 3 hours


2. Rinse the kelp, slice


3. Heat a skillet over high heat, pour some water in the skillet, bring to a boil, drop the kelp in the skillet, boil for 8 minutes


4. Chop the garlic cloves and red chilies


5. Drop the kelp in a large bowl, sprinkle salt in the bowl, mix until even, set aside for 10 minutes


6. Pour chili flakes and roasted white sesame seeds in a small bowl


7. Heat another skillet over medium heat, pour vegetable oil in the skillet, heat the oil until shimmering


8. Pour the vegetable oil in the small bowl, pour vinegar, seasoned soy sauce, and white sugar in the small bowl, mix until even, set aside for 5 minutes


9. Pour the sliced green onions and parsley in the large bowl, pour garlic and chilies in the large bowl


10. Pour the chili oil mixture in the large bowl


11. Mix until even, set aside for 10 minutes


12. Serve
