Braised sea hares

Ingredients

500 grams sea hare

1 tablespoon chopped ginger

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

1 tablespoon chopped green onion

3 red chilies

2 tablespoons baked bean sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

1. Remove guts from the sea hares, rinse

 

2. Blanch the sea hares in boiling water for 1 minute, take out, drain

 

3. Heat a fry pan over low heat, pour vegetable oil in the fry pan, throw the chopped ginger, garlic, green onion, and red chilies in the fry pan, stir until fragrant

 

4. Pour baked bean sauce and oyster sauce in the fry pan, stir until fragrant

 

5. Drop the sea hares in the fry pan, stir until even

 

6. Pour some water in the fry pan, until sea hares are fully submerged, turn up to high heat, bring to a boil, turn down to medium heat, cover the fry pan with the lid, simmer for 3 minutes, uncover the fry pan, season with salt, turn up to high heat to thicken

 

7. Serve
