Braised duck drumstick with potato

Ingredients

1 duck drumstick

1 large potato

1 red pepper

1 green pepper

1 small bunch green onion

1 piece ginger

2 tablespoons baked bean sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon chicken powder

1 tablespoon cooking wine

4 bay leaves

1 cinnamon stick

1 teaspoon white sugar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon sliced parsley

Method

1. Peel and slice the potato into chunks, dice the red and green pepper, shred the ginger, slice the green onion

 

2. Slice the duck drumstick into chunks

 

3. Drop the duck drumstick in a skillet, pour some cold water in the skillet, add some cooking wine in the skillet, heat the skillet over high heat, bring to a boil

 

4. Boil for 5 minutes, take out the duck drumstick, rinse, drain

 

5. Rinse the skillet, heat the skillet over high heat, pour vegetable oil in the skillet, heat the oil until shimmering, add the green onion and ginger in the skillet, stir until fragrant, add the baked bean sauce in the skillet, stir until fragrant

 

6. Add the duck drumstick in the skillet, stir until even

 

7. Add the remaining cooking wine in the skillet

 

8. Pour some water in the skillet, bring to a boil

 

9. Add white sugar in the skillet, season with salt

 

10. Add the bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and potato in the skillet, bring to the boil

 

11. Cover the skillet with the lid, turn down to medium heat, boil for 10 minutes

 

12. Once thickened, add the red and green pepper in the skillet

 

13. Stir until the red and green pepper are cooked through, add the parsley in the skillet

 

14. Serve
